Prayers
The Lord’s Prayer and prayers for the moments people most look for one: when you wake up, in the evening, before bed, for your children, for a job — and one for each day of the week. Each comes with verses to pray alongside.
- The Lord’s PrayerThe Lord’s Prayer in full, as it stands in Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV), and what each line means: the hallowed name, the kingdom, daily bread, forgiveness and deliverance from evil.
- Morning prayerA morning prayer to start the day with God, and verses to pray when you wake up: Psalm 5:3, Psalm 143:8, Lamentations 3:22-23 and more.
- Evening prayerAn evening prayer to thank God for the day, ask forgiveness and hand him the night and tomorrow, with verses to pray at nightfall: Psalm 141:2, Psalm 92:2, Ephesians 4:26 and more.
- Bedtime prayerA bedtime prayer to sleep in peace, handing the day to God, and verses to read before bed: Psalm 4:8, Psalm 121:3-4, Proverbs 3:24 and more.
- Prayer for my childrenA prayer for your children, asking for protection, wisdom and faith, and verses to pray over them: Psalm 127:3, Proverbs 22:6, Isaiah 54:13 and more.
- Prayer for a jobA prayer for a job, asking for open doors and peace while you wait, and verses to pray: Philippians 4:19, Matthew 6:31-33, Psalm 37:5 and more.
- Prayer of the dayA short prayer for each day of the week, to read in the morning, on a break or before bed.
In the Antioquia app, guided prayer prays aloud with you, and the prayer room gathers your church’s requests.
